Bondage Workshop

Rope Bondage Workshop ~ A Sensual Experience
Hosted by Uncle M Productions
7-10pm

An instructive, hands on workshop dedicated to the art of restrictive rope bondage as a sensual experience.  This interactive workshop will allow the participants to view and then practice various bondage positions designed to immobilize in a safe and comfortable manner.  Simple easy to learn techniques, minimal knot tying with affordable and therefore plentiful rope, will appeal to the beginner seeking a pleasurable or sensual bondage experience as no levels of pain or discontent are discussed in these classes.  The more experienced bondage practioner will not only enjoy seeing a different bondage style in play, but the facilities space and equipment as well.

Bondage etiquette, sensual, appropriate touching and communication between rigger and willing bondage partner are paramount to a mutually satisfying bondage experience.  Rediscover some of those lost or forgotten skills that are all to often taken for granted.

Uncle M will demonstrate various restrictive ties with one of his Pinup bondage models, attired as a Pinup bondage model.  The experience for the model wearing pinup or fetish apparel vs comfortable clothing or no clothing at all is deliciously  different.  Come and discover how.
The Lounge offers ample space to pair off and practice rope skills.  Classes will consist of one hour of instruction followed by two hours of bondage play.  A suspension frame as well as various bondage equipment are offered by Libido      Lounge and will be made available during play time.  There is no expectation of nudity and this is a no sex event.  While there is no dress code, feel free to dress up a little or wear comfortable clothing to make the interactive portions   easier.  Rope in limited quantities will be available for loan.

Class # 1
Basic hogtie -  Uncle M will demonstrate how to hogtie your partner simply and effectively using a single length of rope and one basic knot.
Basic hogtie with crotch rope - The next step in hogtie bondage.  Discover a simple technique, effective on both the female and male partner,  that increases the security of the bondage and enhances the overall experience at the same time.

Class # 2
Chest Harness and Wrist Tie -  The classic chest harness is an easy to learn must know tie.  A chest harness serves as an anchoring point for wrists and ankles as well as suspension.  Properly done, a chest harness not only looks cool, it feels so good your bondage partner is not going to want to take it off.  A 50 foot length of rope will be used to demonstrate the tying of the harness and an additional 25 foot length for the wrists to harness bondage.  Uncle M will introduce a conical tool called a fid and show how this amazing tie is accomplished without the use of a single knot.

Class # 3
The "Helen" Hogtie - This ultimate hogtie was created for and perfected on one of Uncle M's favorite models and is named after her.  The hogtie consists of rope on the upper and lower arms, wrists, knees and ankles.  A 50 foot crotch rope secures the subject in what has to be one of the most deliciously intense hogties imaginable.  Uncle M will take close to an hour to complete this hogtie that consists of 200 feet of well placed rope.  This is a fun tie and plenty of time will be given for practice!

Non Libido Lounge members please contact Uncle M via email: unclem@pinup-bondage.com to be included on the guest list.  Directions to the Lounge will then be provided.  Please state your name and the name of your partner if attending as a couple.  No nick names or handles please.

Bondage from our early years

Just a few samples of the type of bondage style we did back in the day.  We have evolved from not paying much attention, if at all to what was in the background, to the clean uncluttered look we do today.  From the damsel in distress or DID to a Pinup style.  The Pinup style is a lot harder to do as you have to put some thought into adding props for interest and colour.

My challenge in upcoming shoots is to combine both styles into something unique.  Add a little more excitement to the art.  Growth...it's all about growth.

Jennifer and her pal, Red.  Well Red is my pal too actually.  :)

Our first photographer Tea, gets a taste of what it is like on the other side of the camera.

Officer Jennifer takes her job seriously.  No handcuffs for her.  Noooooo.

A study in frustration.

Busy with Bondage

While I may be guilty of neglecting my little blog, the same cannot be said about the bondage part of the equation.  A very successful bondage event held at Xcitement , photo shoot with Diana and a new mystery model, interviews with two new potential models, one of which can be found on her Deviantart page, welcoming a former model back into the fold (lord has she blossomed and when I get her OK will post either a link of some recent photos) and just generally busy scheduling, budgeting and planning for 2011.

As Christmas is fast approaching (yes Christmas and not the politically correct winter festival.  Don't get me started) I will not make you suffer through any witty dissertation before one gets to the photo part of the blog.  Most of you probably skip right to the photos anyway, pervs that you are.  That is what I would do.  :)

Enjoy!!

Coldest day of the year...furnace goes out.

Conversation with wife early yesterday evening:

wife:  "It's cold in the house, why isn't the furnace working?"

me: "Hummmm...dunno, let me check it out."  (vision of big honkin repair bill)

me:  "The pilot light on the furnace is out!"  (crap...I'm sure I paid the bill)

wife:  "How did the pilot light go out?"  (in a tone of voice that says it's my fault)

me:  "The wind must of come down the vent pipe and snuffed it out."  (best I could come up with considering the pressure I was under.  Hurriedly checked that the gas was flowing into the house by testing the gas fireplace, bbq and meter outside.  All good)

wife:  "Do we need to call a repair man?"  (lets see now...after hours, freezing cold, furnace out, EMERGENCY repair...$$$$$$.  That would be a no)

me:   "I AM the repair man and can certainly relight the pilot."  (in a tone that suggests confidence but with copious quantities of bullshit lathered in)

wife:  "There must be a number on the furnace to call, give it to me."  (wife is no fool)

me:  "I've got this...give me a minute."  (after turning the knob on the gas regulator to the off position as per the instructions, it got stuck there and would not turn to the pilot setting.  My life passed before my eyes)

wife:  "I'm getting a sweater."  (wife then opens the oven door, cranks it up to 400 degrees then snuggles up with the dogs and a paper)

me:  (After several attempts the knob finally cooperates and I get the furnace going again.  Walk up to room where wife is)  "Done...up and running again."  (I say smugly)

Wife is beaming.  My reward?  An extra pressed chicken cutlet for dinner.  No snuggle, no sex no nothing.

What I was hoping for.

Or even this.

Got this.

The Art of the Struggle

Anna talks about struggling while tied up.  Always the best part in my opinion.  :)

So after all this talk about bondage being comfortable enough to fall asleep in and such, you may ask “why is it that the models on Brandibondage struggle so much in the photographs and the videos?”.  Well, my darling audience, that is because struggling is part of what makes bondage fun.  Think about it this way – would you want to tie someone up, putting so much thought into the way that ropes are wrapped and knots are achieved, only to have them fall asleep and snore on you?  Probably not.  Struggling is an essential part of bondage, and without it, bondage would probably not be as appealing.

There are, in my view (and this is taking it strictly in the acting sense), two ways to struggle.  There is the struggle that says “I’m helpless, I can’t get out of here, but I will struggle to show that it is futile to struggle”, and there is the struggle that says “I am going to get out of here.  I don’t know how, but hey, maybe struggling will help!”  The former tends to involve a lot of wriggling around, possibly trying to get off the surface upon which one is tied (please note here to not try getting off a chair when you are tied to it!), and perhaps, when requested by a fan, reaching helplessly for something out of reach that might just help you, like a cell phone.  The latter involves picking at knots with any and every moveable finger or toe while trying to escape, and sometimes contorting oneself into almost inconceivable positions to achieve this escape.  Escape is almost rarely achieved, and the only one I’ve ever been present at was recorded on tape and posted on Pinup-Bondage, with the promise that it would never happen again.  The best I have managed is to slip miscellaneous dead-end ropes through loops only to find that it was just something Uncle M had left there for me to play with.  What a tease!

The art of the struggle, I think, lies not in the motion and the success or failure of the attempt at escape, but in the intention behind the struggle.  There is a distinct beauty in the wriggling, the expressed helplessness, and the contortions models will put themselves in attempt at escaping, whether the intention is real or not.  There is also a fun irony in the fact that the models struggle as best as they can despite the knowledge that they will mostly likely get nowhere with their efforts, and also the fact that most of the time, the positions for the bondage is so comfortable that the models don’t really want to escape at all!  I know that for myself, there have been a few times where I have had to make myself struggle for the camera when I was content to just lie there.  At the end of the day, I think it’s a general consensus that struggling tends to be the eau de vivre for bondage, and without the struggle, the art of the bondage would be sadly deflated.

A blast from the past.  Anna tried like mad to get out of this and asked us to leave her tied, which we did.

Sleep Over Bondage Shoot

Anna discusses the "Sleep over" bondage shoot.

There is one requirement I have when it comes to being tied up in rope – it must be comfortable!  Girl has to be able to relax while participating in bondage or it just isn’t as much fun.  That being said, it should not be surprised that the sleepover photo shoot was among my favorites.  I mean, how many times in a model’s life will she be able to lie down on a comfortable bed, be snuggled by multiple stuffed animals, and wear pajamas?  For someone who is almost constantly sleep-deprived and tired like me, this shoot was absolute heaven.  In addition, this particular shoot was just too cute to be true – a little girl decked out in pink and surrounded by stuffed animals?  I’d go for it!

I have to say that, for me, hogties are by far the most comfortable, especially when it is on a very comfortable surface, like a bed.  As I settled into the pink sea of fleece blankets in my pink kitten-print pajamas, I was content to just fall asleep right there.  Actually, the hardest part was probably trying to stay awake and not doze off.  Round and round the ropes went, and when Uncle M was done tying, I felt as snug as a bug in a rug.  Well, a rug of rope and fleece that is.  I struggled a bit for the camera, but probably a lot less than
I usually do just because it was very comfortable just lying on my stomach hogtied, and really, it was more comic for the “victim” of rope bondage to fall asleep because she was just too comfortable.  Of course, through the careful arrangement of the multitude of stuffed animals present, I think little Anna was attacked and tied up by her overly cute stuffed animals because she snuggled them too much.

When the video camera went on though, it was time to do a bit more struggling.  My motive for the clip was to struggle for bit, give up (because it’s Uncle M’s rope work and there’s no way I can get out of it anyways), and then snuggle a stuffed animal and sleep.  And this was exactly what happened.  If you watch the clip carefully, you will see where I gave up wriggling and straining, and simply snuggled my sheep to sleep.  Poor sheep – I had no hands (obviously) to pull it towards me, and so it now has bite marks on it wool.

As a side note, I think that there is something of glamour in flannel pajamas – the ease and solidity of the cut, the fit that tends to be just a tad bigger than a well-fitted suit, and the multitude of colors and patterns one can indulge in.  There is also the contradiction in flannel pajamas when it comes to glamour – although it would never be considered as appropriate work or even casual wear clothing, I have yet to find another piece of clothing that complements a woman as well, provided one does not pick a size three times bigger than what is needed.  Flannel pajamas aren’t as provocative as a crafty negligee or a satin slip, but they scream sexy and comfortable at the same time, which, in my mind, gives them more points than just being sexy alone.

Photo from the sleep over photo shoot.  Anna had a heck of a time persuading her stuffed animals to leave the comfort of the pillows and join her.

Pinup Icons

Last week I was introduced to a young woman by Gem when I stopped by her store to discuss our upcoming bondage night.  When this attractive woman was told I was Uncle M, she immediately took out her cell phone and pulled up one of my photos.  The photo was the cover shot of our Pinup Bondage book featuring Sisi and Helen in those gorgeous candy land outfits Sisi created.  I was pleasantly surprised to see our work being carried around on a cell phone (great word of mouth advertising) and I asked where she pinched the photo from.  Google was her reply.  Cool.

Now for those that are unaware, my webguy has activated a copyright script on my website that prevents visitors from doing the 'ol right click save as thing.  Apparently the script is easily defeated by those that know how but it does stop the majority of people from lifting the photos from the site.  A fan of our work has been sending me messages and emails, hounding me actually, on just how annoying and silly this type of software is.  From what I could tell he was pissed off and wanted me to deactivate the script.  Suffice to say the communication between the two of us was getting heated (this guy just would not go away) and I finally blasted him in one of my journals on another site.

Wouldn't you know it, I received a long and quite eloquent email from this fan in reply.  You have to admire this guy, one tenacious son of a gun.  Turns out he was just trying to help and had documentation to back him up.  The point he was trying to convey was let some of your art free, much like a flyer advertising a business or service.  Let people grab it and repost it.  Spread the word.

Alrighty then...two juicy photos that have become iconic for all you peeps to grab.  As for the script on my web site...I'm working on that and expect it to be turned off, at least on a trial basis very soon.
